3: We support people in the London
Boroughts of Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Islington at the moment. We
can also support people in the London Boroughs of Islington, Haringey,
Waltham Forest and in Newham. People from all over the country can
live in our houses.

4: Yes. We do not turn people
away if they need a lot of support. We work with several people
who need a great deal of support. This is often very difficult,
but we find ways to do this that work for the person. We do not
believe in restricting people and we have been able to change the
way that we support people so they have a good life.

5: Yes. We provide support to several
people who live in council housing or other housing run by other
housing associations. We also work with people who live with their
families.

6: Yes. We have 5 residential
homes, these are quite small. A couple are divided into flats.

7: Several Service Users work with
support from other local support organisations. The main one is
Hackney Recruitment Partnership. We are looking at ways to change
our day services to help some people find work.

8: Yes. We find that volunteers
add a special quality to the support we offer people and they can
sometimes result in long-term friendships for service users. They
help people develop interests and relationships that we would otherwise
not have the resources to do. For more information on volunteering

9: Salaried staff usually work
in just one Hilt project. Sessional staff work as and when they
can and wherever they are needed. This means that when staff are
on holiday or off sick, usually a sessional worker will cover. We
try to use as little agency staff as possible to keep our services
consistent.
10: Yes you can. Sessional posts are
always available. When we have other vacancies these are posted
on the website and in the Press. Click on the jobs button above
to download an application form or to find out more.
